Alumni Achievement Award

Nominations

The National Alumni Achievement Award recognizes former members who have distinguished themselves in a chosen field of endeavor, whether as a paid professional or volunteer. Evaluation will be based on:

  • Accomplishments and demonstrated leadership in chosen field of endeavor

  • Community involvement and leadership roles assumed

  • Continued service and involvement with FCCLA on local, state, and national levels

  • National FCCLA Alumni & Associates membership status verification

  • Two letters of recommendation

National FCCLA will award one nominee this award. All nominees must be current members of National FCCLA Alumni & Associates and can be submitted through the FCCLA Portal. Nominees may be:

  • A past or current chapter or state adviser

  • Part of state administration

  • Local supervisors of Family and Consumer Sciences

  • Family and Consumer Sciences teacher educators

  • Family and Consumer Sciences education staff of the U.S. Department of Education

  • A former FCCLA member
